How to use a Chinese version SW in English OS

My lap top is English version Windows XP SP2.
( o$ l9 O4 M1 R8 ~$ i. o1 sI have got a Chinese version game from my friend.
( S3 ?! e4 Z5 E4 `The charactor can not displayed normally.
