Anthony Catanzaro, born December 18, in Bay Shore Long Island, is an American fitness model and bodybuilder.
2 `  L, U6 F5 R6 Q) w5 F( THe was a former Playgirl model and Mr Fitness 1997. He has appeared in movies such as Carlito's Way, The Scout and Batman: Gothic.
- G7 Y" G3 M/ }3 j% g! _. iCatanzaro's father, Carlo, worked in the fishing business and his mother, Rosaria, was a seamstress. Both of them have unfortunately passed away. He is the youngest of six children. He has four sisters named Kathy, Lisa, Annette, and Francine. He also has an older brother named Michael. All of them live in the New York area.
Growing up in Bay shore, his family lived in a small house. His brother and sisters being much older than him moved out when he was still a child. It was around his 15th birthday when he transformed one of the bedrooms in his house into a gym. He was an avid WWF fan at that time. He used to love watching Hulk Hogan pump up his persona on TV. It was the spark that got him into fitness and bodybuilding.
% s; y: U( x$ Q2 A- I) xOn his 15th birthday, his sister, Fran, bought him a weight set. Then one week later around Christmas, he used his savings to buy a bench to go with it. And the rest is history.
Catanzaro got into modeling at the age of 18, and continues to have a busy schedule. He not only competes as a fitness model, he also competes in natural bodybuilding shows all over the country. He has also appeared in many Films, TV shows, commercials, magazines, and catalogs. But what he is most proud of is helping others achieve their goals. Whether it's health, fitness, motivation, nutrition and well being, he always encourages people to follow their dreams. He believes we all have a purpose, and we should all help each other find that purpose.
